The people behind iMagyned

Amarachi Onuorah

Co-Founder

Amarachi Onuorah is an education and leadership development professional passionate about creating opportunities for young people to thrive through learning, innovation, and community. As Senior Program Officer for the McCall MacBain Scholarships at McGill University, she designs and delivers leadership programming that supports the growth of emerging leaders from diverse backgrounds around the world.

Her interests lie at the intersection of education, mentorship, entrepreneurship, and technology, with a particular focus on how design thinking and artificial intelligence can be leveraged to address educational challenges and empower young people in African and global contexts. Amarachi is especially interested in developing innovative learning experiences, strengthening mentorship ecosystems, and advancing educational equity through research and practice.

A Mastercard Foundation Scholar (’21), she holds an M.A. in Educational Leadership from McGill University and a B.A. in Linguistics from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka.

Ferdinand Ochor

Co-Founder

Ferdinand Ochor is a project management professional with experience across education, business, and the social impact sector. Over the years, Ferdinand has, through his skills, supported organizations to grow and continue to achieve strategic objectives.

Ferdinand is currently an MBA candidate at the Sprott School of Management, Carleton University. He is a McGill and Sciences Po Mastercard Foundation Alumnus in Educational Leadership and Economics, respectively. He is passionate about helping organizations translate strategy into measurable results and supporting professionals in achieving meaningful career growth.

Stephen Agboola

Tech Lead

Stephen Agboola is a research scientist and higher education professional with a background in Educational Technology. He is particularly interested in how technology, data, and innovation can contribute to more effective, inclusive, and future-oriented higher education systems. He is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Research and Innovation in Higher Education (MARIHE) through the Erasmus Mundus programme, with academic experiences across Europe and Asia.

His research interests include higher education policy and governance, digital transformation, and the future of learning. Alongside his academic work, Stephen has experience in research, communications, project development, and international higher education initiatives.
